  1. Mustang Mach E electric SUV to debut Nov 17

    Ford TCCOA HomePage News
If they bring back the Tbird as an SUV, there's going to be a bloodbath at Ford. Just sayin... :) That looks like they designed it after a hot wheels approximation of a Mustang.

I have an Eaton 112 I'll sell you; just the blower, you still need the lower intake and accessories. :) I'd go with the longer mustang tranny that fits.

I showed those pix to the cats; they were not amused, lol. Kaatu scared the hell out of one of the nephews a couple of weeks ago; I was working on the Tbird, Kaatu was sitting in the rear window, and the 5yo great nephew thought he was fake. :) He had his face up to the glass when Kaatu...

Any aluminum block is good, because it removes weight where it's hard to lose weight. 80lbs for the block, 25 for the battery relocation, and that's about it for the easy stuff. Looking locally, Mark blocks are easier to find than the others, but all areas are different; we don't have a lot of...

A teksid block, with a crank, pistons, and a set of B heads are about $500 here. (JY engine, lol.) Machining a set of sidebolts into a iron block isn't going to be cheaper than that. :) And it's 80lbs lighter. There's several of various years in CA; check car-part.com; the 98 is best if you...

Those tires are likely not rated for the weight of our car; and if they're over 5 years old, are prone to breakage under heavy driving. Our weight of car required 98 load index tires, 1600 pounds/tire. Lower ratings wear really fast. I ran 205/55 15's for about 6 months; they also make the...

It was all I could think of; we're still working on our overlords, but truthfully, we're fucked.

I have a number of older computers I use for gaming on LAN; most are XP but I have Win95 and 98, as well as three Win7 systems. I'm currently modding a P5WD2 Premium mobo to go from Socket 775 to Socket 771, to fit a Xeon processor I got cheap. It should overclock upwards of 4GHz, and it has 4...

Yes, but I made the cats nervous. :) That's an old meme.
  13. No start switch issue fix.

    General Tech
The fan coming on is a separate problem; it's usually the EEC going bad. There's literally nothing in there other than the ignition switch and the starter solenoid that's involved in turning the car over. A bad eec will cause all manner of no-start problems, but the starter operation isn't one...

Video games are mostly higher frequencies, so they are easier to attenuate than bass. Hanging a dense ceiling composed of multiple layers of office-type drop ceiling panels with insulation between them might be enough. And hanging artwork on the walls made of rug type material is good for...

I do not have wheel hop on Lazarus, with the mark lowers, poly, and a locking diff.

That switch can't be cleaned; I'd say you need a new MFS.

If you put in light dimming capability, you need to make sure is doesn't generate noise; way back in the 80's I helped build a studio, and found out that Triac based dimmers are the devil to high fidelity, lol. It's a detail, but you don't want to hear 120Hz and 180Hz harmonics on everything...

The standard flasher is a bi-metallic strip flasher. https://www.arc-components.com/blog/blinking-lights-what-is-a-flasher-unit.html It flashes proportional to the load. The led capable one is a timer circuit and a relay.

    Exterior
Actually, it's worse than that. A tungsten filament in the 3157 is about4 ohms cold, so it draws even more current.
