COOL … Like the Sports.

I have a '92 Sport, love the drive. Not a ball of fire, but OK for a high geared AOD. Comfortable, great steering, I just don't like the passive seat belt-harnessers. If you beally want good steering response, 16x7 wheels (Sport or Cougar XR-7, etc) and some 225/60R16 tires will do it.

Yeah those passive seat belts are a trip!! I had to totally replace the drivers side. The plastic train track had folded up on itself and got stuck in the motor drive!!!! The "ajar" switch in the door latch wasn't working right allowing a 1/2" of wonky back and forth travel, that's what damaged the track. I bought my good used passive seat belt parts from TBSC and Supercoupe Performance.

How many of the 1992 Sports are left do you think? The Marti Report states only 7,074 were produced!!! That's a very low production number for a mass produced Ford.

Well, I sold mine to a friend who loves Fox Mustangs and SBFs … just have my '95 now. On my Sport, the clear coat was starting to peel on hood & roof & deck spoiler. 161,xxx miles, 302 never leaked ort used oil. Lowered 2 inches, Tokico HD shocks, he'll love it.
