dont put a car cover over it with the adhesive exposed... that makes for a right mess....

i would say to just be careful, and take it out in as few pieces as possible.

most of all WEAR GLOVES!

I actually just did this on my 94, i've used some of that urethane sealant but i still find it leaks. Not sure if it has been an error on my part or waht but im trying butyl tape next. Cant really install the rear seat/panels until Im sure its not leakign anymore.

Yes, they are bolted in.. you have to remove the sail panel to get to the nuts. There is a sealant there, though. Get the old stuff off.. you can make up a ball of what's there and tack that ball on what's left and it should pull off with the ball.. make your way around getting all off the new window and the opening in the car. Ggo to your parts store and find some 3M strip caulk (what I usually get is in a blue box).. lay at least one unstretched bead around the full perimeter... two if you want the insurance, no gaps, and bolt it back in.

you must remove the sail panel, they are bolted and glued.... I found that gas worked best for removing that tar-like substance.... my neighbor does auto glass so he had new tar stuff and tada like new... makes a big mess though changing them

I would add, do this on a warm day; I leave the windows up in the sun, so it all gets warm. Then none of the plastic breaks.
