I think Bangster is running 17x9 Bullitt replicas on his 97. IIRC, miller1995 ordered some 18x9 ones as well for his 97 and they look to fit reasonably well on his.

Tons of Cougars and Thunderbirds running 17x9, that is a common size for the aftermarket replica Ford wheels. I wish I had a better sized tire, and staggered wheels sizes (17x9 with a spacer in back, 17x8 in front). I also wish I had a better sized tire, even lowered I have a ton of wheel gap.

I don't have any real good pictures, and I would go with 18s if I could do it again.

I'm running a pair of 17x9's on the rear of my XR7 (17x8's in the front) with 275/50/17's (245/45/17's in the front).
