Yep, wait for a chip.
-motorcraft 32C plugs (1 step colder than stock)
Let them know you will have those installed when you order the chip, it allows more aggressive timing which = more horse power
the 180* thermostat and colder plugs will allow you to advance the timing more without pinging which = MORE power. Willow, you have a distributor on you car so you wouldn't need a chip, you can advance your timing by adjusting your distributor if you have a timing light.
ALSO the 32C plugs you can get at a local ford dealer. 32C are the last 3 numbers but they SHOULD know what you are talking about.
