OK, I have done some research on my paint code....I have cleaned my glasses and magnifying glass and I still see code "WR" which I understand is "Performance White" and not "Opalescent Pearl"--the code for the pearl is "WK" but my data label says "WR" and my car has never been repainted, so the factory mis marked my label pure and simple.
I need to paint my trunk jamb a little so I need some spray Opalescent pearl.

Get out a notebook. WT is performance white, or oxford white IIRC, as the brochure states it. WR is performance white with the tri-coat process done to it (pearl).

Well, I know it is a tri-coat process, I dunno how a little touch up would work.

WR is Performance White tri coat. Opal is a different color, as is the other tri coat, Vibrant White? (I can't remember what it is called, it is very white, not like Performance White or Opal).

I would guess it would have to be 2 or 3 stages, there was a chip repair on my car when I bought it, and it looks horrible.

Bangster, thats it, VIBRANT white. Thats what the factory white paint is called. It's code WT, which is the same as performance white.

My 1997 LX Sport IS the Opalescent Pearl, just like the car in the 1997 Dealer Thunderbird brochure that I have, and my paint code is "WR" thats all I know, it is not Performance white, oxford white either, I understand that this is special paint and more than likely is a 3 step/stage process.

Does anyone have any spray paint (touch-up type stuff) in code WR which is 1997 Opalescent Pearl?? if so where did you get it, or would you sell me whats left in your can?? Thanks!
I've got spray cans of the "WR" paint code from Paint Scratch.com that I've never used.
I bought them back in '03 but then got the car painted in the "WK" paint code so I don't need them.

1, 12.5 oz. spray can of the basecoat (the the actual paint color) with Flex added.
1, 12.5 oz. spray can of the midcoat (the tinted clearcoat that is applied over the basecoat) with Flex added.
1, 12.5 oz. spray can of clearcoat.

I paid $69.85 for all three.
I would like $50.00 plus shipping for all three.
Let me know.

just know that the clear in a can isnt anything like the clear thats on your car now.
also remember that your label isnt mismarked. wr is wr. color names are completely irrelevant. they change all the time.

what is it you want to paint? if you can ship it, i could do it for you.
