How many of us MN12 owners are in the '200,000 club'?

I was working on my car the other day, and began wondering that. I recalled a TV commercial Volvo had, where some vehicles were shown with "mileage badges" based on a certain milages attained.

My Thunderbird's at 203,850.

:zbeer:

Have a great holiday, folks!

Awww man, you are just getting broken in, I'll match your 224,501 and raise you 123,437 (on my second motor, the first got a groove etched between two cylinders at 123K when the headgasket blew on a trip and I didn't realize it).

I made it to alot over 192,000 miles with a '91 V-6. Then the head gaskets went. I have a '93 with a decent engine and 188,000 on it, it's badly damaged though. I'll put them together one day and have something for the winter, or maybe the track. It won't take me long to get to 200,000 though.

Well, I guess I almost qualify with my previous car

1986 Mercury Cougar LS w/302 v8 Traded in at 220,677 miles.

However,

My 1995 T-Bird is getting close, as I am at the 175,000 mile mark

I've got a long way to go. My bird only has roughly 84,800 miles on it.

Well MN12 Nats need a trophyt for most.......

They need a trophy for most miles at a meet. i know for a fact, i checked all the cars, closest one was 10,000 short,

My good ol 5.0 has 256,000<-------and counting. org. engine, but second trany, only because of an improperly installed B&M shift kit.

Proud to say she is running consistantly in the low low 15s...... 15.1 is my best on street tires at national trail in columbus OH, with a tail wind........my was it sweet.

However in her old age she is getting tired,i have a daily now, and the bird flys on the weekends and sometimes during the week, and anytime i go rollin with the rest of the flock in Dayton, O.

NEAR NEAR future plans call for a 347 stroker create motor, if you check the 2003 ford motorsport catalouge ...............whatever. it is on page 32 i think, well anyway.

I love drive n her, anyone ever play a guessing game with the cops on milage for a ticket?????

got out of one b/c the cop guessed 100k just b/c he didnt think it had more than 70k, needless to say i didnt get a ticket, and i never go through that town anymore.
