Ok, here's the deal. . . I got dibs on a 2002 F-150 with a 5.4 triton in it.

Motor has 11,000 miles on it. $1,300

How difficult is putting this motor in my 95 thunderbird?

You may want to do a search, there have been heated debates over that torque heavy motor. Just type in 5.4L into search and a whole bunch of stuff comes up!

car will be faster and handle better with an exploder motor and the engine can be found for cheaper.

Not sure why, but I keep getting a response of "NO RESULTS FOUND"

Not exactly what I would call "A BUNCH"....

I tried several variations of the request. . . 5.4 5.4L 5.4l 5.4 L 5.4 l

Nothing worked

just out of morbid curiosity has anybody done a big bore on a 5.4? I'm not gonna say this is gonna cure the bore to stroke ratio but it surely ought to help so long as strong enough connecting rods are used

Along the same lines as the big bore 5.4, would it be possible to big-bore the V10? I know this has no relevance to our cars, but just curious if its possible.

i see no reason why not, it's the same as a 5.4 with two more cylinders so you would just order 2 more sleeves and pay a little more
