Eh it's ok, I like the LED sequential tails and the new interior, but really nothing has changed in the engine department, same ole 4.6 and base 4.0. Not sure if they're going with the TT V6 or not?

I love it! I was surprised that the Modular is still in the new Mustang. I guess the 6.1 Boss engine didn't make the cut. Still, I am impressed. I can't wait to see it at NAIAS this year.

Engines will change for the 2011 model year.

It was a 6.2L for the Boss and odds are it, as well as a new modular 5.0L, and a 3.7L V6, will all make the cut.

There is always a chance that there will be an ecoboost engine but its not sure yet if it will be a v6 or i4.

Belt line is still too high and looks fat because of it.

Other than that i like it more than the current one.

Watching it right now. They said they were going to have a big announcement at the Detroit Auto Show. I wonder if that is refering to the engine options? The one they showed on SPEED tonight was said to be a 4.6 with 315hp/325tq

I don't really know what to think exactly. I like it a little better than the current ones - better lines, wheels, interior options, blah blah blah - that's all been said. I wish it could compete with the other "retro-muscle cars" though (i.e. the Charger, Challenger, future Camaro, G8, etc...) Maybe the engine rumors for the future will come true.

So yeah, it's cool...I like it...I'm a Ford guy. But to me it's a shame that everyone and their mamma will now have one...if they don't already. One of the reasons I drive a Bird is because there's just too many Mustangs for them to be unique. I don't care how much you mod and customize a Stang...it's still just a Mustang to me...just like the one sitting next to it...and the other one down the road (get the pic?) lol. But I'm not going to get into the whole "anti-Mustang" mood...b/c that's not what I am...

But whatever...Rock on Ford...I like the new look!

I watched the program on Speed, and was impressed with the car, and the way they presented it. I was surprised they released a 2010 model so early. Ford has done a great job on the Mustang. Too bad they can not say the same for the rest of the product line.

I have been researching these for months now, as I plan on picking one up when they come out. The Boss motor got the ax from what I have heard, and they are sticking with 5.0 @ 400hp for the 2011 model. Thats also when they will throw the 3.5 or 3.7 in as well. There is supposed to be a turbo option as well. Kinda sucks they waited an extra year for the hp boost... it's making me want to wait another year for the extra 85 hp.

Mine will be a Kona Blue GT coupe... also waiting to see what Saleen does to it...

Caleb, I know what you mean, thats why when it was time to replace my bird, I went with a Mark VIII instead of a Mustang.

392bird, production for the 2010 model will start early January! Its crazy how early these cars will be out.

Pics or ban! Do you have any sources? Heh, I don't think so. The way the economy is right now, next to gas prices surely going up... I highly doubt they'll do that, and all my "sources" I've talked to say it's history. 5.0 is it for this round it seems like.

It has visual evidence of the 6.2, even though it is in the Raptor, but it is evidence it exists. Just maybe not in the Stang.

Yeah we know it's in the raptor, but this is a 2010 Mustang conversation.

I just don't think we'll see it in a Stang. I'll be happy though with the 3V and WARRANTIED SC kit putting down 400+ hp. Haha, the kit is more than my Bird!

RIght, I was just pointing out that there may be a glimmer of hope, but IF it does get a chance to go in a stang, more than likely it will be in the Cobra, which I will be unable to afford so its almost like they didnt put it in there anyways.

No pics, didn't want to risk my job. But I've seen it, I've sat in the car, started it. It had a 6spd manual, updated dash, older style body. It was within the last month...
