Fuse 15 under the hood. I use it to reset the computer after a tune change. pull it, try to start the car, and the computer memory is cleared.

I was under the impression the cars that were stolen were towed or flat bedded out. I mean I think you’d be more alarmed to hear the loud exhaust of your own car from your room than a diesel truck at a hotel off the highway, that’s just white noise in that setting.

Disconnecting or tripping the inertia switch in the trunk would be just as effective as the fuse pull, if not better because it’s not really a well known thing outside and even within Ford circles. If you had cat like instincts and reflexes and they didn’t beat you to a pulp first you could thwart a car jacker by whomping on the quarter panel before they took off.

I used to do that if I went somewhere in knoxville.
