Ok I'm planning of getting a 20"x8.5" wheel with a +42mm offset and a 245/35/20 tire size. Does anyone know how this will sit the car is stock height at the moment but do plan on dropping 1.5"-2" down the road

The tires are only .2 inches larger in diameter than a 225/60 16 which is a stock size, one of the many tire size calculators on the web would be a good place to start comparing.

That is a cool site, here is that page with what I am running on my 97 Mark VIII (and ran on my 97 Cougar, 89 Cougar with the old spindles, and 89 Cougar with 93+ spindles). I have to run a 3~5mm spacer so they don't rub on the 93+ spindles.

As most of the aftermarket 9 inch wide 17 and 18 inch wheels for our cars are 36mm, 42mm with 8.5 inch wheel is the same backspacing, so be .5 inches more sunken in but with the same 6.4 inches of backspacing (I don't know what the offset for factory 15 or 16 inch wheels are, but measured backspacing is 5 inches, 5.5 inches to the lip).
