Hey guys, my buddy did a 3 litre swap into a contour with all the SVT workings, but his RPM's get stuck.
He got a new throttle body because that was sticking too.
As soon as you turn on the car, it will idle normal, then creep up to about 2,500 rpms and just sit there.
But if you go WOT, the rpm's will go down, THEN creep back up after awhile.
All of this is while it's in neutral.
We're assuming this is an air leak, a local guy HAS been tuning it- he's spent about 4 hours total working on it, and we're running out of ideas on how to check for this leak.

Any help or suggestions?

Go to contour.org and search their 3.0 section. If you don't find an answer, sign up and post this up. They have some knowledgable people on that board.
