I am going to get my 3.73's soon, but I am not going to be able to get a burnt chip until a week or two later. Because I am going to get a dyno tune and I have to work around work with putting my gears and getting my dyno tune done. Is it bad in anyway if you don't get the chip at the same time you put the gears in? Thanks.

Top speed will be around 85 mph (I think) due to the speed limiter.
The shift points won't be optimal and you may hit the rev limiter at WOT shifts.

Do a search as there's a lot of discussion on the 3.73 without a chip.

I'm almost sure you won't "hurt" anything, but with the chip it will be much better.

Good luck.

I went from a 3.27 to a 3.73... NO Chip... No Problems.. Never hit my Rev Limiter and tranny always shifted fine.... I did have a much lower max speed, but that is no issue now... I change my own gears LOL....
