power to weight ratio comes to mind....but more than that too. The driver has a tremendous impact too.

And I hope you mean on the track and not on the streets cause thats illegal

Honestly, you're comparing a turtle to a tortoise here. :)

According to Wikipedia, a 96 3.8L Lumina was rated at 205 hp/230 ft-lb from the factory. That's an extra 60 hp/15 ft-lb over a stock 3.8L NA MN12. We have a 98 Monte Carlo here with the 3.8L in it, and it's a slug.

If the lumina has a 3800 engine then it has 200 hp, that engine only came in police versions and LTZ version lumina.
