Did they put different MAFS on 94 3.8?? I found a 94 3.8 and it has a different part # that mine....any idea why??

No its the stock one..its just that I found another 94 3.8 and the #'s didn't match up. Some of the numbers did but not all

I wouldnt be worried about it. My personal experience with MAF at least is that they always have had different numbers. If your still skeptical go out to the junkyard and look at all the combos of numbers you can make on the same year/engine. You'll be lucky if you can find one thats close.

because the transfer function is specifically tuned to the computer and engine of the vehicle. Using the wrong MAF can screw up the air/fuel mixture and even send the car into "limp" mode (otherwise known as open loop)

Ford did change some of their part numbers but kept the sensor the same. But as far as I know, they only did that with the 80mm Lightning MAF and nothing else. It's a Part Number, it's not different between each sensor, it should be the same.
