I plan on removing my 3rd cat later. What is the best way to to do this? Any suggestions?

Thanks

I dont want to cut the pipes too far up so it is easier to put both pipes in a dual in dual out muffler.

I personally had a custom y pipe made. Looks stock too.

azreael334: What does it sound like?

I just removed my 3rd cat today and have yet to get a Y pipe put on it so my mufflers aren't hooked up. I LOVE THE SOUND, but i know i can't keep it because of emissions.

It took my about 5 mins to cut off the 3rd cat. I used a reciprocating saw with a metal cutting blade. JUST DON"T START THE CAR AFTER YOU DO IT-------because you will love the sound of the rumple...atleast i did. too bad i have to put on a y pipe :(

good luck it's really easy to do!
