Hi guys, I saw this site on another board and found that they make intake adapter plates for the 4.6 DOHCs w/ 4.6 SOHCs to follow. Here is the site. I'd post pics but I'm not able to do that......(wonder why that is)

Click on the "Carburated Modulars" and check the stuff out.

Someone swap the Aussie 4.0L into something! That'd be bad ass! :)

Again WHY????
Is it because of the vertical to horizontal transition of the ports??
One can put their choices of intakes on it.
Porting doesn't look to be a problem either.
But I guess to each their own.

Well then if that's the case, one can also put any 5.0 EFI intake on the adapter. I like it becasue it opens up more options for intakes. But that's just my .02

That has to flow like crap! Just look at the port differences between a 5.0 and a 4.6. To make an adapter plate to go from one shape runner to something completely different in that short a distance is going to have some weird shapes and curves going on, and I can't imagine it would be efficient. Plus hood clearance would probably suck cause the stock 4.6 manifold has a good portion of it down in the valley whereas the 5.0 manifolds are all above the heads.

Well MadMikey sees it too.

No, I don't have anything against carbs, I just don't like working on them anymore.
