My 4.6 composite intake failed about 3 years ago (mine was not covered under waranty-was 30 days out of extended coverage for this) anyway.....looks like my Ford dealer used a intake "kit" to replace my intake and from what I can see they used a Mustang type intake because my engine now has a Mustang type alternator bracket and NOT the Mustang alternator to go with it, this bracket looks ugly just sticking out from behind the alternator with two holes on each side-(that would be bolted to the MUSTANG alternator) question is there a correct bracket that I can get to get rid of this ugly one or will I have to swap to a Mustang alternator?? Thanks!

No

You could run your sparkplug wires on top of that bracket .
