I recently purchased another 97 TBird 4.6, the oil pan has rotted out and my mechanic says he cant find a replacement pan or even a part # anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions where to look or know the part #

They are unique to our cars, Tbirds, cougars, and mark8's. If you want one,call junkyards. Most mechanics would know that, tho.

I may still have one or two, would be a week or so before I could find out for sure as all that stuff is 45 mins away from where I live but if your interested I could check and if I do have one I'd sell it cheap. and it would have come off a 97 tbird for certain

Try and find a Mark 8 pan, They hold an extra quart of oil.

Get the oil pickup tube at the same time if you can.

Pickup tube is the same unless it’s a Gen II with the HO oil pump, which you don’t want with a 2V anyway
