one quick question, do the valvebody need to be taken out in order to pull the internal?

got the front pump off but when i want to pull out the internal seems like someting is holding it back. suspecting maybe the od servo or something small is holding it back.

thanks.

If you want to send me the drum I'll weld it for you, free of charge. It's the reverse drum which has the diode on it. I highly suggest not using a mig to weld it, slag gets in the thing and problems happen.

i think the band needs to be rotated one more so that the piston can squeaze it when its pushed in . Why didt you find a service manual or something before you took it all apart?
i did have the factory manual here, but the problem is the drawing doesn't show clearly where the end suppose to sit...

The words that I tell everyone that I have ever trained to do anything come to mind here.
"If you pay attention to how you take it apart then you shoud be able to put it back together the same way."

I don't want to rain on your parade, but the band is in wrong and it should be pretty obvious as to how. Just take a look at it and think about how it operates. Its really very simple. You don't even have the parts in there in the right order.

I am very concerned that if this thing here causes you problems then you are in for a very rough road with this. That has to be about the simplest part next to threading in a bolt that there is on those. Be very careful.

kinda figure out yesterday. i believe this is the right order now.

the 1/2" bottom fixed pin kinda wedge on one side of the stopper and the servo rod wedge the other side right?

this thing kinda just snap out when i pulled the drum so that's why i didn't paid enough attention.

thanks.

Well you have the band against its stop and against the pin, but you are not in the right order still. That band is that last thing that goes in before you put the intermediate clutch plate stack in.

You need to get the right stuff in the right places and in the proper order or you will have big problems.
