whenever I WOT my auto with O/D off in my 97 GT once I get to about 85-90mph it always turns back on automatically. I'm not sure if this is a problem or what. I'm curious because my brothers 99GT does not do this.

Any input would be great!

Sounds like the car has a non-stock gear ratio, and a stock tune.
The stock EEC programming commands an upshift on some cars whether you have it locked out or not.

That says plenty.
Count the revolutions of the driveshaft when turning the wheels or pull the cover and check the gearset to be sure.
Feel is a poor way to determine if the car has non-stock gears.

Bear in mind that it was my younger brother asking questions in my name. I know how to calculate gear ratio. I appreciate the help however. The rear end is stamped 3.08 T-Loc. That in no way guarantees that it is still stock, but I doubt it's been changed considering the labor involved to swap and the condition of the car overall in which it was purchased.
