it all depends on how you drive it,

if you're driving at wot then the shift points will be higher
if you're driving slow then the shift points will be lower, like the 2000-3100 range
if you're pedal shifting will, you can shift high or low, you have some control like that but not complete

btw, pedal shift is when you accelarating then you let go of the gas, the tranny will shift, then you can accelarate again
again this will not work at any rpm

then of course if you manually shift....

this is all assuming that it is on a aod

Depending on the setting for your TV cable, the 1-2 shift is around 4800-5000rpm. The 2-3 shift is around 4500, sometimes sooner. 3-4 shift is... well, you won't know unless you have removed your speed limiter.

For the non SC or TC, about 112 for the 89-93's, the 87-88's are 118 if I remember mine correctly, and the 94's and up are about 105.
