to my knowledge ( Correct me if im wrong ) our rear subframe and the rear subframe from the 03-04 cobras is almost identical. would it be possible to swap an 8.8 Solid rear axle into our cars? and if so could we just buy the conversion kit that some companies offer for the 03-04 cobras?

I do believe this is the third or 4th time I've seen this question in as many months. I'll save the time of beating you over the head with "why didn't you search" and just let one of the Florida guys physically beat it into you at a later date.

No, it won't work. To do a solid rear on our cars requires backhalving the car.

Yeah and there are a lot of 03-04 Cobra's running around in the 11.2 and even 10's with an IRS.

Heck, I just bought an 04 Mustang. I am swapping TO an IRS on it.

when you get to the point where a beefed up IRS cant handle what you're putting though it, you wont need to ask "how," you'll just do it.
