So my trans is officially out on me and my mechanic said the piston ring on my #2 cylinder is cracked causing oil to constantly foul out the spark plug.
I have a chance to buy a perfectly running bent frame 88 gt 5 speed mustang mustang for 700$ with 120k on it that comes with bbk equal length blockhugger headers, new clutch, bbk h-pipe and a few good body panels but my main reason is swap out the motor and trans.
i know theres a few ways to do the t5 swap using supercoupe parts but was wondering if anybody ever was able to use mustang parts. fabrication isn't an issue but jus wanted to get some feedback. thanks in advance
also would the header be transferable? i know headers are tight to fit in m12's but i figured blockhuggers would b possible
