ok guys i know it's not a bird, but you guys are great deal of help when i need it so here goes.. I have a 91 ranger with the 2.3 and auto trans.. my problem is if the truck has sit for a few hours or overnight it takes too long to shift like the r.p.m needle will climb as u go usually up to near 4500 r.p.m before it shifts then after that it shifts fine.. i've changed tranny fluid and filter, just checked the fluid level and it's good.. i even changed the modulator valve on the side of the transmision.. jus dont know what to do next.. the truck has 188 thousand miles on it..
