As I'm sure most of you know by now I'm swapping my heads for 97GT heads and PI cams. I've gotten most of the parts together and I thought I had all the gaskets. When I went to FordParts.com to order the gaskets it only listes one gasket for the intake, so I ordered it. But I didn't think about it until now that I need two, but the site only listed one. Can I just order another one and use it on the other side? Thanks,

Preston

As far as I know the answer is no. With my motor there is a "-AA" and a "-BA" at the end of the part number. One for each side. You will need to confirm this with the place you purchase the gaskets from.

Please note that I ma only guessing here since I have absolutely no idea which intake you are bolting up to.

Sorry J.Miller, I'm bolting up to the stock 94-95 intake. I'll probably go with the 96-98 one later, but I've spent enough money already. Thanks,

They don't look too different to me, but they probably are. Now theses gaskets are pretty thick, is there any way that I could re-use just one side?

You can re-use both of them provided you did not tear or otherwise damage the rubber sealing ring.

I've got a brand new set of the early 4.6 intake gaskets here in front of me. They are identical parts. Both have the same engineering number on them. It's the same on the 96 and up NPI gaskets and the 99 and up PI gaskets that are currently stocked one part number fits either side.

Awsome, thanks a lot all of you. I thought they were the same when it only listed one, but I didn't want to order two. Thanks,

Preston
