Check your Ford dealer. Sometimes the parts guy may have enough time to look in their old crash books. I have had excellent luck finding N.O.S. window trim and stock radiator hoses.

Isn’t the ‘94 Cougar speedo the same as any 94-96 MN12 speedo?

The 90-96 6 gauge cluster speedometer LX, Sport SC (90-93) and Cougar speedometers are the same.

What’s your reason for replacing it? Broken odometer? If so there’s a strong chance a NOS one won’t be any better, the material used for the gear drive seems to get brittle with age not just use, you’re better off rebuilding what you have

Do these assemblies have the PATS system?

Your gears are breaking just rebuild it and you'll be good to go.
