Hey all. I have a 95 bird...was thinking about swapping on a 96 style intake manifold...and PI cams... How much power would I get from this? Would I need a tune? Where can I get a tune in the Johnson City, TN area. what else would I need to do the swap? Im thinking id get a bbk intake tube for it and relocate the battery to the trunk.....I don't wanna swap motors yet....but do want a lil more power.... wouldn't that be an extra 20 hp right there? maybe even after market intake? let me know thanks

'96 intake probably isn't worth the money to swap in my opinion.

If you want to do PI cam swap, just find a set of 96-98 heads on the net for sale, with all the Mustang guys doing PI swaps, you can pick them up cheap. I'd suggest sending them to a machine shop for some love first, and at least get a valve job and new valve seals put in them. Or you could go the easy way, and buy my '98 heads with PI cams already installed, fresh from the machine shop. I was going to put them on my car, but need a complete rebuild, so I'm going with a complete PI motor.
