i have a 95 t bird lx with a 1999 triton 5.4 liter...i want to put nitrous in it.nothing radical...i was thinkin liike a 50 to 75 shot...wat kit do you suggest or wat all i need.its fuel injected...this is all it has done to it

high rise intake
2400 stall converter
aluminum driveshaft
3.73 posi irs rear
1997 rear disc
flowmasters
super chip
k&n filter
nology wires
and
hopfully soon mild to med cam..


wat do u suggest

Actually I will make different suggestions for your combination. Understanding that you have a motor that is not going to want 6500 rpms. I will suggest a little more stall than what you want and a little less gear. Get it into the power and keep it there. I would suggest around 3000-3200 stall and 3.55 gears. Some prefer the 3.27's. The cam you have the right idea, but any aftermarket cam(s) worth having are going to want more stall. You have reached a very sensitive subject here on the tccoa, tread lightly and welcome aboard. This is not the suggested engine of many,but everyone does have the right to do as they please.

he used to have a forum member in tampa who posted asking app questions about the 5.4. Thats probably his old car.

Anywho, thats cool, its not my bag of tortillas and salsa, but its your car so enjoy.

That looks suspiciously like a truck intake, which means you won't be getting much over 5000RPM out of it, but an a$$load of torque. Should be a fun car when its done. IMHO you need the TFS 5.4 2V intake when it comes out this summer, but it will cost more than the price you paid for the entire car............

If you want a small shot like that, or even up to 100hp. You can get the Zex mustang kit for the 4.6. It is activated by the 5v signal from the TPS, so you can floor it most of the way then mash it and get the nitrous to activate, or just mash it at launch and forget what the word 'traction' means.

You got that car for 700? WHAT A DEAL 5.4 or not! nice! Put a lightning blower on top :)
