I need to know the wiring config for this mirror. The 97 i got it from had a wiring harness that ran along the top of the drivers side door. My 96 doesn't have the same harness. Any one know the power wire for the mirror I speak of? It has three wires, a black wire, a purple with orange stripe and a black with light violet stripe (? I think). I want to put power vanity mirrors in it also...Should I go and pull the whole harness?

Yep. Done it before, you need the harness, or at least the connectors with a couple inches of wire, and run your own wire.
