I have a '97 sport V-8, I drive by a a non sport V-8 every day. The exhaust on the nonsport shows from the rear, muflers, pipes etc. What I've noticed is the exhaust on mine doesn't show. I think I've also noticed (maybe I'm wrong) the rear bumper cover on mine (sport) seems to have a slight protrusion on the bottom that may be what's covering the exhaust.

Stock, the exhaust is tucked up underneath, Chances are if the one has pipes/tips showing, there are two explanations:
1.) Stock exhaust is getting ready to fall off
2.) Has a non-stock (aftermarket/custom) exhaust setup.

I see differences in a lot of MN12's that I think are just factory variances. I see different types of turndowns, some are mounted high, some low, some turn to the side, others just face the rear but turn down. I don't think they are aftermarket, just different assemblers at the factory.

When I had dual borla's installed at the bumped, I told my exhaust guy to tuck them under the bumper to "hide" them. You can have them installed so they're visibly right under the bumper at all times, depends on how you direct your custom exhaust guy. My car is also lowered, so to see where the mufflers were at was really hard, you had to look UP from under the car. You could see them a little from the side...but never drivind behind my car.

I'm flattered that you would use my picture as a example! :D

Can I say flattered?
