Is there any advantage/disadvantge to using fuel rails from a 98 GT compared to those from a 96/7 MN12 or GT (I know those are the same)? I searched but only had one little thought on them. Are the 98's the same as the 96/7's or no? This is for the PI intake and all the other good stuff swap on top. Thanks

The 98 Gt fuel rail uses an electric fuel pressure regulator where as the 96-97 T-bird, GT's use vacuume fuel pressure regulators. Not sure if you can use a vac. regulator on the 98 fuel rail. The 96-97 T-bird fuel rails are a little different than the 96-97 Gt fuel rails in appearance and size. The GT's are a little larger and have a zig-zag shape to them. Visually they look like they would work for a PI swap but I don't know for sure. Do the GT fuel rails have an advantage over the T-bird rails? I doubt it because the 4.6 in both cars came with 19 lbs injectors. In fact the 99-04 GT's use 19 lbs injectors also.
