i sware i read somewhere in a post where someone said u could use ur a/c radiator for the tranny cooler.. can this be made possible and what all needs to be done to make it work.........

I tried it when I did a test fitting on my stroker. I had the stock radiator, and used the A/C condenser as a trans cooler. It did great for the trans, and kepth the temp below 160 even with the 3500 rpm stall converter and non lockup setup. The down side was it transfered all the heat into a radiator just like running A/C since all the air was preheated cooling the trans. I will be using 2 B&M coolers to cool it this Spring, with a back up fan operated cooler to kick in if temp gets high at low speeds and the MarkVIII does not kick on.
