well ac works wonderfully somehow so i decided to give it a try this summer...i like it but lets say im keeping a steady speed...it makes the car speed up a tad then it slows down when the compressor kicks on and off...its not too bad, but its noticeable when ur just cruising and car speeds up a tad then slows down, speeds up and slows down...what could be the problem?

The Computer is programmed to UP the idle when the compressor kicks on,, The computer is preset with a program that know how much drag the compressor draws on the engine and compensates that with upping the idle.

If the compressor suddendly becomes easier to turn (Less Freon) (Belt Slippage) then you will start to feel it.

An easy way to tell is on a hot day, turn the A/C on max and fan on max, open the hood watch the compressor and advance the throttle by hand to a fast idle the compressor clutch should stay engaged. If low on refrigerant clutch will cycle on and off.
