i give that man a lot of respect. it takes a lot of courage for someone to come forward and talk about something like that, and these health issues are important. its scary to think about too... -greg

Man, I have know idea what he must be feeling like right now. The survival statistics atleast look pretty promising, depending on how severe.
To bring that out onto the internet, was a very commendable and couragous thing.

Austin's own reigning Tour de France champ Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with that a couple of years back and by the time he got checked out, it had spread all over his body, iirc. He fought it with a no-quit attitude as well as the usual treatment and went on to win the Tour the past couple of years or so. Don't know all the details, but it was pretty bad and now it's gone and Lance is going strong nowadays.
