Most likely based on it's final retail value, at street level, in small quantity.I suspect whoever was wholesaling it wasn't going to gross anywhere near that much for it... that estimated 28~40 mil gross was getting divied up between everyone from the growers, smugglers, dealers etc.
$40,000,000 / (20,000lbs x 16oz)=$125.00/oz
$40,000,000 / (15,000lbs x 16oz)=$166.67/oz
$28,000,000 / (20,000lbs x 16oz)=$87.50/oz
$28,000,000 / (15,000lbs x 16oz)=$116.67/oz
Think about it. If the cops confiscated my Cougar back when it was brand new would it be accurate for them to say it was "valued at $30k~40K" because over the next 10~15 years and 3-5 owners is will gross that much revenue?ThunderBeast86 said:Well...depends on how you look at it. Over $40 million would have been invested once it was all sold.
Think about it.....
Sorry I didn't know there was a golden rule? Isn't seedy brown stuff from south of the border going to sell for alot less the some prime seedless BC bud from north of the border? Or some indoor grown sensi from down the street that was grown with love and care from premium strains?ThunderBeast86 said:$40,000,000/ (20,000lbs x 16oz x 28g)= 4.46
Correct me if im wrong, but that's saying each gram only sells for 4.46.....we all know a gram sells at 10..
Well I could sell my cougar to my brother for 5K, buy it back for 5K then do it over again and claim it generated over 20K in gross revenue, but I still lost my *** on fee's and taxes and wasted time. lolObviously he will sell pounds to dealers...but then each dealer breaks that into ounces...and then those people sell the grams. Well over $40 million would be generated after it was all sold, and broken down into the smaller and smaller dealers.
