Hey everyone, I need some help. Right now I've got a 95 T-Bird that I payed $4500 for almost 6 years ago. The cars been abused, wrecked twice, and the speedo was replaced after I bought it so it doesnt show correct miles(has about 95,000). Well, as I said, the car has seen better days. Years of driving her hard is starting to show. Anyways, I've been in the market for a Crown Vic(P71) for a while now, and local lot has one. It's a 2001 with a 120,000 on it, light blue troopers car. Its of course got a few scratches here and there, but drives REALLY nice, not the mention has decent pick up too. The guy said he would take my T-Bird(giving me $1700) and $2500 for the Vic. Looking at Edmunds.com, it doesn't seem like a bad deal. Theres another place around here that sales Vics but there 1999-2000 with over 100,000 and they want $6000 for em. So, does this sound like a good deal?

If you like it then it sounds fine to me. I usually define a good deal as whether you get what you want for the price you are happy with.
It doesn't sound overpriced.

it all depends man. ive drove some that were dogged to hell and some that are awsome (i drive CVPI's all day all with 100,000 - 200,000 miles)

sounds like a decent deal, a good condition 98 - 99 CVPI out here with like 100k miles undercover with tints and whatnot will run you about 3000 - 3500 if you know how to talk

Hard miles sometimes, but they are usually maintianed better than most civilian cars.
