i have a 1993 thunderbird lx the compressor runs R-12 in it but what other kind can i use without having to change the gaskets and seals?
thank you its hot out here lol

You can use Freeze12 and not require gasket change.

I have used it, and it works good, and is non-flammable r12 replacement.

r134a to do a conversion the [correct way] would require 100% system flush, including removing all your existing oils, all new gaskets & o-rings, and recommend a new oriface tube & evaperator..

And since r134a doesn't run as cool as r12, and you have an r12 system, it will not be as cold.

thanks for the help i checked unto that freeze12 stuff its acctully pretty good im going to get some soon my t bird is an everyday car but if it wasnt it would have no a/c no power steering nothin but a water pump and alternator haha thanks again
