Hi, My Dad owns a 96 3.8 T-bird and he told me the Airbag light flashed well I never could get it too so I wrote it off. well today it flashed and I quickly realized it wasn't just flashing but it was giving a code. the code was 32 well says its "EGR not seated, low voltage closed" two things one does the airbag light actually give off codes or was it just flashing weird. second I was actually cleaning the cables to try to fix the problem of it not having enough power if the Rad. fan kicks on the voltage goes down and the RPMs drop if you turn the AC on it almost dies. ALT. is brand new just installed last SEPT.

The ABS does give off codes but it's nothing to do with EGR. You're looking at the wrong code definitions. Code 32 points to the right front crash sensor. It's either damaged or the connection is bad/faulty. Check it out. It's in front of the radiator support.

As far as the car almost dying, it's probably the IAC valve. The voltage dipping is normal when the fan first comes on. It's a huge load on the system.

Thanks man.

and really, wow how many amps does that thing take? my car doesn't do that at all and my fan can cool faster, smaller engine and fan though.
