Did all clear tail lenses ever exist for the mn12? It's just a question of curiosity seeing as they were oddly available for alot of cars small pickups of the late 80s early 90s. Actual all clear no amber or red.
Can they be found by any online companys or is this a once in blue moon find.

Maybe tastes have changed, and some newer member might feel differently.

We should openly accept the more ricer options for our cars; after all , who are we to judge?

Now if you could get the LED part of the taillights in clear as well as the corners in clear then it might look acceptable depending on what color car you have.

I think it would be hideous ..imo the tail lights on these cars are best blacked out or tinted.

I just thought it may look half way respectable matching New front lenses and clear corners
Or at least an option for a clear tail lense with all the appropriate red and amber areas for legality purposes just to spice up the ass end with something else . ..Such as offered for a lot of modern cars . Not necessarily just an all clear look even tho I like the look.

I had tinted gto covers all over my 91 and it did look good with an all blacked out car and black wheels but was very hard to see backup lights and brake lights even with good bulbs .
I don't think tinted covers would go good with red car any color but red .

Now That you mention what's the method for tinting besides "vht niteshade spray" which turns out pretty well ive used it ...but by the time you get it evenly coated and floated its to dark by that point.
Anyone ever really oven bake apart the lenses and tint them from inside ..much like headlights are done these days

Are there plastic blackout covers made for the 96 97 .I let my gto set go when sold my 91

My sc came with a set that had to be removed at night..they covered the headlights and tail lights .and i swear I've seen them on 96-97s..
I like to use the tint spray, not the peel crap and it's always cane out nice.
Here's my sc, I don't have a pic of the rear but they were tinted as much as my fronts and the lighting was good enough ( not the covers on this car)

OP: that's such a pretty car, I wouldn't junk it up with, shall we say "accessories" that were in style 15 yrs ago. I think even the ricers have moved on to something else by now.

I personally dont care what people do to their cars ..im not the fashion police..
If they want to put eye lashes on their headlights idc. If it makes them smile while they drive that's what matters.
That's why I love these cars so much, most people don't understand it but these are just enjoyable all around to drive, race and play with..

The headlight output on these cars already leaves a lot to be desired, spraying black crap all over them is utterly irresponsible. Front and rear. The real police should enforce that fashion faux pas.

I remember that car when Rob had it.

Oh I woudont ever junk it up.. I'm a auto paint detailer by trade its in my nature to be over protective of this car" all my vehicles for that matter ,I know what I have here.
It was just a question in curiosity in regard to clear tails.

I'm all about motor mods and maybe diff wheels. And leave the rest to car shows and weekend driving
