Hey guys.....

Rich,
Yes you are 100% correct, I forgot to mention that my cooling fan on/off has been modified by Jerry. It wouldn't help much to have a 180 degree t-stat and a fan that turns on at 221 degrees F.
However before I had the EEC reflashed, I found the 180 degree t-stat did aid in cooling the T-Bird off with the A/C on.

I've got my EEC set by the man also and everything's fine 'til
ambient gets above 100 degrees F. When it's 105 -110 down here
my temp "gauge" quickly cilmbs to 80% of the arc and will slowly
go higher. My guess is the cooling system has reached max
"throwing" capacity. I think a bigger aluminum radiator would
help. It's fine below 100 degrees.
When it starts to really climb on a 108 degree day I can bring
it down quite easily to 60-70% of my gauge by turning the heater
and fan on full tilt....the experience is, shall we say,
unique.....
