Alternative parts for T45 swap?

717 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  scott
Has anyone used any other parts than the McLeod? If so what? Also do I need the clutch pedal assembly from a 94-5 SC or will and older one like from an 89 of 90 work?

Thanks

You will need Mustang clutch parts as they came with a T-45 and had the 4.6. The SC had a 3.8 and a 3880 or some thing like that. I don't think the bell housing will from a SC will fit on the 4.6. I would go with a Mcleod Hyd. bearing because it give you a nice cluth pedal feel.
Sorry I just re-read your post and now know you ment the pedal assembly. I would get a SC pedal box as the fire wall has the bolt pattern laid out for you and it makes the drilling a lot easier.
