A 93 has a 1G alternator (MAYBE a 2G) 75 amp with different wiring, a 97 which should have a 3G 130 amp alternator.

While putting a 3G in place of a 1G or 2G is done with rewiring, going with an alternator that is nearly half the rated amps doesn't sound like a good idea.

yeah, if it has the fan on the front, don't use that post 94. the 3g's dont have the fan.
