I just had my ball joints done a couple of months ago and just got new wheels last month.... granted, the ones I am running requires spacers. I was driving home from work the other morning and when I went to brake, I heard a loud pop from the front and it pulled hard to the right. I stopped to check it out and well, nothing felt loose and it still drove ok. When I got home I noticed that when the wheels are straight, one is actually straight and the other it turned out. My initial thought is tie rod, but I thought when one of those were broken it would make that side real loose? I am going to take it to my local shop and get it checked out and aligned. However, I was wanting some ideas from you guys of possible things wrong....that way it will ease the pain some before the mechanic tells me  . Thanks in advance...............

I agree about the tie rod--the wheels you're using may have put loads on it that it wasn't designed to resist. The right side tie rod ends, inner and outer, would be the first things I'd check.

thanks... I was thinking the same thing. I guess in a way I was trying to ignore the fact that the wheels may be a problem  .....thanks for the insight and advice.
