I used some Valvoline synthetic on mine recently to top off, and it had the friction modifier in it.

First recommendation : A synthetic if you can.

Second: If it doesn't specify it has the friction modifier for limited slip diffs, then yes, you'll need the additive.

Past that, I suggest your favorite. I mean, I'd have LOVED to use Royal Purple, and it wasn't that much, but they didn't have any when I found out I couldn't feel any with my finger in the fill/check hole.

what's the easiest way to fill in chassis?
*shrug* My lube came in a plastic jug that fits good enough to get started topping off, no funnel needed. I just clipped the end off the spout, shoved it into the fill hole, and started squeezing.

Helps I used to help my first wife with cake decorating :diablo:
