Does anyone have any experience with removing their backseat out of their 95' Bird.. I know they weight quite a bit.. and weight sux. Thanx

yea, it's pretty easy


1. push bottom part of seat towards rear of car, then lift up (there's 2 brackets it sits under that hold it in place

2. under seat back there are 2 bolts (13mm I think) that hold the seat bck in place, undo those and lift up, and you're done.

you'll find out the seat doesn't weigh as much as you think it does. Not even my leather ones are that heavy

yeah

Yeah they weigh about 20 to 30 lbs and the passenger seat weighs 20-35 also. To take out the bottom (1st) Pull straight out. there is 3 "plugs" that you may have to get under with your hand and pull on. Then for the top pull out and take out two bolts. And bam your done, To take out passenger seat there is four bolts. At the strip also dont forget to take out system and spare. All of these things will help about .1 to .15 in the quarter.
