I was searching for the mystery clunk sound today. I had the wife crank the car up and I watched the rear wheels turn. i noticed the passenger side halfshaft was a little bent and as it spun the tire wobbled a bit.
Now it's not very bad but quite noticeable compared to driver side. I am guessing that is bad and it needs to be replaced. there is also a small amount of play in the shaft-doesn't feel tight. But I have no idea about these things.
how much am I looking at here? guestimate wise- or am I going to have to take out a loan to get this fixed?
In any case, I am not buying a new car.....
