I still got stock wires, but this is what my buddy told me. He's a manager at a NAPPA, and he swears that the motorcraft wires are the best and most conductive. I would check to see if you can return them after you try them out. You may find stock wires better.

summit racing has 9mm ford racing wires for a 5.0 in black, red, and blue. blue is $40. there are three wires that you dont use. they work fine and look nice.

except that with DIS the wire has to clip onto the coil pack Mike.

Those wires would work. FRPP, motorcraft, same difference. Just one is thicker and colored. But they dont give you much of a gain. Not enough to notice.

ah yes. will you let me slide on that one? still kinda early over here :)

ford racing wires also last longer than the stock/autozone brand ones.

So the ones in the link on the first post would work, even with DIS? If not, which ones (I'm not really looking for better performance, just something a little better looking than the gray CarQuest ones i've got on there now_

yes those wires will work, they're made for DIS.

I got the FRPP (in blue of course) from Dan Newman. I paid around $40 something with shipping. These are 9mm wires and fit in the stock looms.
