Signed up on TCCOA but it doesn’t seem to be anyone out there?
Anybody wanna start using this again?
I’ve got a 94 LX black has 47,000 original miles on it real nice and clean anyone interested in the newer TBird’s anymore hello.
I have had tranny problems since I’ve owned it and I don’t believe it’s the transmission when I’m cruising highway speed‘s it downshift once in a while hits neutral goes back-and-forth between the gears and then it’ll run fine for a while seems to do it more when it’s real hot outside wondering if anyone has had this problem I think it’s got something to do with a vacuum problem or something?

There are a few of us still around.

Sounds like the Manual Lever Position Sensor (MLPS) on the transmission is going out. Early model MN12's had issues with this sensor. I had to have mine replaced twice. Once shortly after I bought the car in 1995 and again about 5 years later.

Yep, that's textbook for a failed MLPS. Most parts stores will call it a Transmission Range sensor.

Or even the Neutral Safety Switch.
