My K member has about 3" of ground clearance. I'm running 245/40/18's too. I'm going to add a spacer in the springs, any other ideas?

Stock 225/60/16 = 26.7" Diameter
Your 245/40/18 = 25.7" Diameter

So just your tire size lowers the car 1/2" or more.

I have Eibach's but am running 245/50/17 (26.8") and I don't have any (major) ground clearances. I just have to be careful how closely I pull up to a parking stop "thingy". :D

Here's what my 245/50/17, 17 x 8.5 wheel, Eibach spring, setup looks like:

I normally don't have any issues with the k-member but if I don't take speed bumps VVVVEEEERRRRYYYY SSSSLLLLOOOOWWWW, it will hit the underside of the body right behind the wheel wells on top of the bump. I'm running 235/60-15 tires.

Edit: One other thing, I can't fit my floor jack under the k-member without driving the car up on two 2x10s first.

I've got Eibach's with Koni shocks...
And with my 245/45/18 I haven't got a slightest problem..
Other than getting the jack under the car.. :D

But the clearance for the Kmember doesn't matter that much
unless you're driving on really bad roads with stuff passing
between the wheel... Or a stone in the middle of the road....

Stone happened saturday. Any center ridge in the road, where it dips where most cars tires go, I shave those off every time. Luky to only have a scratch on the oil pan

What tires do you have?

I've got Eibach lowering springs with Koni's on stock 225/60-16 tires. I can just barely get my floor jack under my car.

I made some ramp stops for mine, so I can park it on ramps in the garage. I park it this way all the time in the front so I can do minor stuff to it with out having to try to get a jack under it. Makes it very easy to work above or below the engine.

3 car garage and 20x30 barn...and I still park outside. Figure that out.

I've got nitto 555's up front and taller/wider sumitomo's in rear, very sticky. I didn't know they made a 245/45/18, I'll have to check it out.

Eibachs's and 235/60/16's, no clearance issues, other than the flowmaster exhaust's flange connector by the differential.
